Managers
From Fleets Game Guide
Managers are the icons on the top of your maps. You can exit a manager by hitting the X [close] or hitting the same manager icon again to go back to the full view of the map. You do not have to exit one manager to navigate to the other; simply hit a new manager icon to navigate away from the one you are on. From left to right they include:

Finder Manager
This Manager houses the Fleet, Outpost, and Construction Managers.
Fleet & Outpost Manager
This manager shows you the information for your outposts and fleets. Information is displayed as you roll over each building with your mouse in the bottom left info box and the bottom center bar.
By clicking on a fleet or outpost in the manager the map will move over to that system showing your outpost or fleet in its current location. This makes it easier to navigate your map once it grows large.
Another navigation help is to pin certain fleets and outposts to float on your main map view without having to open the manager. To do this select the thumb tack next to the building you wish to pin so that it has an orange halo. You can deselect a building by clicking on the thumb tack again to remove the halo and its pin to your main map view.
You can also see the orders each fleet and outpost is carrying out and use the far drag arrows to reorder your list based on your preferences.
This manager is very important to combat because it determines in what order your fleets will take damage. A fleet at the top of the list will take damage before those below it, so put your high HP fleets (or your cannon fodder) above your high damage ones.
Reorder Construction Manager
Here you can use the far right drag arrows to reorder your construction cue. This is useful if you have too many things in your construction cue for the amount of resources you have available. So your highest construction priority is at the top and the lowest at the bottom.
Music Player
Under the finder is the music player. Click on it to play our cool Fleets music.
Zone
This display tells you what Zone you are currently playing in. If you click on it, you will pull up the zone list where you can navigate to a new zone that you're playing in or find a new one to register for.
This also brings up your stating menu:
News
This Tab shows your news feed.
Friends
This tab shows your Friends list, you can also invite your friends that aren't already playing the game here.
Referrals
This tab shows the url you give to your friends so you can gain referrals.
Tick
This display just counts down the time until the next tick, or turn. It also displays how many ticks have passed in that zone.
Research Manager
In the research manager you'll see a tree of technologies to be researched. Research is pretty self explanatory, you must research these technologies in the order of the tree which has 3 branches. Once you have so many technologies you unlock new things you can construct. Hovering over a technology will give you its details and what it can be used for. You can hove rover ship types in the build menu to see what you still need to research before you can build that ship type.
- To research a technology you need to select that resource by clicking on it, this should add it to your queue on the right of the research manager screen. You can change the order of your queue by click and dragging on the placement arrows to the far right of each resource.
- A shortcut to adding to your queue is selecting the technology at the end or skipping over a technology that you have not researched on the same branch, this should automatically add the technologies listed before that end technology on the branch to your queue before it.
- There is a status bar for the technology being researched in your queue showing how fast you are researching it.
- A technology that is in the queue and those that have already been mined will be highlighted green in the tree.
Crafting Manager
Crafting is the combining of several component items to craft a more useful product. This is how equipment like weapons can be created from base items and partial components. By clicking on the "Items and Crafting" manager icon a list is displayed showing you all of the things you can potentially craft at this point in time (potentially meaning if you possess the right materials). Keep in mind that as you craft items, more entries may appear on this list, allowing you to chain multiple crafted items into a yet superior item.
Item Market
The Market tab is where you can buy premium/featured items, like the rift generator, using Metacredits. These would otherwise take a long time to find ingame or to craft. You can also purchase everyday items, like unrefined ore, to help you craft products faster especially if you've already surveyed everything.
Crafting
This tab is where your recipes for crafted products are. Here you can combine items to make your creations by following recipes.
Stored Items
This tab is where you store items that cannot be used until you retrieve them. Items are stored if you have surpassed your holding capacity, and this is where gifts are sent both from Central Command and your friends. You can click on an item or care package in storage and select the yellow arrow to put it down into your holding. You may also store access items by selecting them at your bottom holding and choosing the yellow arrow pointing up to put them into storage.
Messages Manager
Your Message Manager is where you can send PMs [personal messages] and see combat and production reports. By selecting the envelope icon the manager defaults to the view all screen, which has a list of your combat, production reports, and PMs. You can also select "Send Message" to send Pms in game. The manager glows red if you have a combat report, which will default to show first. It glows green when you have production reports. It glows blue when you have a PM.
Statistics Manager
The Stats Manager shows your resource statistics and the leader boards. This is a great place to keep track of how well you are mining your resources and how efficiently you are using them. The leader board also keeps you pumped if you're on the top, and gives you a sneak peak at your opponents net worth letting you rethink if you want to attack them or not.
Account Manager
In this manager you can select your player tag icon or upload your own custom player tag. You can change your player ID. You may also select when and where to receive notifications and of what type you want to receive. You can change your login password. And you can view your list of other zones or find a new zone. It has 3 tabs:

Notifications
Here you can check what notifications you'd like to receive and where you'd like them sent via Email, SMS, or Facebook.

Metacredits Manager
Metacredits can be earned through friend referrals, doing an offer, or purchasing sets of credits. The manager allows you to purchase Metacredits via Paypal, credit card, or mobile phone. It also has several pages of 3rd party offers that include free trials, surveys, and more. Metacredits are used to hurry construction of ships, buy premium items, change your player ID Tag, and more. Check it out!
