Discovery

Items are found primarily by surveying. There are different types of items that can be found this way, such as base crafting resources ("Refined Titanium", "Refined Lithium", etc) and partial equipment ("Simple Turret Mount", "Simple Energy Focuser", etc).

Rarity

Items have varying levels of rarity denoted by the color of their names. White for common, green for semi-rare, blue for rare. Only a few blue items are in the game thus far.
